First the good ones:

Bilstein shocks from performance products- Great product excellent company to deal with, as in the past everything delivered accurately and very fast. (2 days) ride improvement is great !

Helwig antisway bar from J.C. Whitney- just like everyone says you won't beleive the difference in ride quality, as in the past excellent company and fast shipping

Brush/grill guard from popular links .com (ebay) - great product , great company, fast shipping, and best of all CHEAP!!!!! my friend has a Weston on his truck (around $700) and you can't tell the difference between his and mine. but the one I got was $279 including shipping!!! I will deffinately deal with this company again.

Autoparts 1212-(ebay) Ceramic break pads. I recommend this company to everyone!!!
they went out of their way to get me the pads and delivered them at lightning speed with a discount for ordering front and rears together. excellent product and superior company!!!!!

Now for the bad, and I mean BAD!!!!

drilled and slotted rotors from r1 concepts (ebay)

A brief history:

I ordered these (paypal) on July 12
July 18 e-mailed r1concepts to see if my brakes had been shipped out yet (no way of traking) No reply
July 19 another email...no reply
July 20 someone finally answered the phone!! I was told that there was a problem with the rear rotors and that they would send them out on monday (no apology or excuse offered for not contacting me)

I wait all week for my brakes.....NO BRAKES!!!!
again with the unanswered emails and phone calls
July 30 I send nasty email demanding satisfaction and some form of contact.
July 30 recieve email "your rotors will be shipped out wednesday"
August 5 recieve rear rotors only.
I'm so far past pissed that pissed is a dot in my rearview mirror!!!!
phone r1concepts and am told that they don't know why the front rotors were not shipped???
Then they told me they were out of stock now!!!!!!! (I'm gonna fu#%ing KILL somebody!!!!)
As soon as possible they will ship them to me but cannot at this time tell me when.
I demand to talk to the service manager
"he's out of the office right now"
I am promised by the girl on the phone that he will contact me A.S.A.P.

August 7 no contact, no answer to emails, nothing!!!
DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY !!!!!!!

Rotors- drilled holes full of metal shavings, some all the way through rotor some not , looks like some kid did it with a dull bit on a drill press.

Next step contact attorny general, better business beaur, already talking with my lawyer, and alert all of you about r1concepts
next time I won't be so damn cheap and will order ART's

Welcome to the fold!
I would suggest you contact LANDYOT (in member directory)to get some radius rods if you wish to improve your ride even more. Basically they stabilize the rear axle which is particularly helpful when you hit a bump--as without them, the X can go off in a different direction. The Helwig and the radius rods are usually regarded s the top two 'must have" mods! Enjoy the X!!

Oh--and from experience--if they are just no good and may misrepresent their merchandise, etc etc--you do have recourse through Paypal to get your money back. I had to do that on something different. It took about 6 weeks I believe but at least I got my money back. You gotta wonder if they are that slack about selling stuff they don't have, if what they do send is any good!
