Hey Ya'll

Is there an easy way to enable the stock fog lights to work with just the side lights on?

All 3 of my Ex's worked just like that... (02, 03, and 05)
Manually turn the lights one notch to the right and pull out....
side markers and fogs !!!!

Now mine hav all been Limited's or Eddie Bauers... but thought this was universal on all ford products since my wife's lincoln ls does that ( and looks BAD like that) my daughters car, my step sons car...

Hi there, I havn't heard a good answer yet on this problem. I see superdutys running around with them on with th parking lights. I was thinking it might be a switch difference. I've going to go to my locale dealer and see if the parts guys can show me some of the different switchs. I'll let you know if I figured out. I belong to Powerstroke.org also. Everybody I have talked with about it is in the same boat. You could change the wiring with a relay and hook up to the parking light circuit. The problem with that is you couldn't have parking lights by themselfs.

Bill...on an 01 I think you can add a jumper wife behind the switch to get the fogs to come on when the parking lights are on. However, I do not know exactly the which wires.

I would suggest a search on at ww.ford-trucks.com in the Super Duty forum for the words "jumper wire" or "fogs with parking lights". It is a common mod but I don't want to tell you the wrong wire colors.

Say, Thanks ken. I'm won a shop manual on e-bay and should have it by this weekend. I might learn many useful things from this. I have a permanet service engine light that code reads coverter stuck on and overdrive stuck. Nice computer, they are stuck on. I did it on purpose. I will post for all of use the fix for the fog lites. Bill
