Does anyone know if any of the gasoline fuel blends with 10 ethanol present any problems?? Seems as I recall many years ago when that was coming into vogue that there was concern about the ethanol degrading rubber fuel lines. Talked to the service manager at Ford dealer and he was unaware of any problems--yet.

Years ago when they introduced it in our area there was probrems with two stroked burning up. I was riding motocross at the time and had several friends sieze motors. Never realy figured out exactly what it was but we assumed it had something to do with the premix oil that was falling out of suspension. We started using race fuel or going out of state for it.
The last two years (summer months) NY has been adding the Ethanol to their gas and now Im into high performance boats. We are having prblems with the fuel eating up the inside of fiberglass fuel tanks. It is breaking down the tank, cloging fuel systems and again siezing motors.
I know this didnt answer your question but it does point out that it is my corrosive than what we used to be able to buy at the pump. There seems to be alot of people saying its not a problem until you burn up a motor and then those same people have nothing to say.
We arent getting the whole story.
