I've asked questions before but here's a new one. Which brand kits actually lift the amount they claim?
I've seen some 4" kits only go 3.5 and others go 4.5". I'm looking at about a 6" lift. The four brands I'm looking at right now are...
Fabtech Super Duty 5.5", front leaf, rear blocks with double shock hoops for ~800 +S&H
Superlift Super Duty 6" front leaf, rear add-a-leaf and block for 600+S&H
RevTek? (never heard of brand) Super Duty 4" front leaf, rear block. It's on Ebay so price will be ??? It's at 450 now and still hasn't met reserve.
Skyjacker Super Duty 6" springs on all 4 corners...on Ebay. Price is ~510 right now. Has met reserve.
So, out of these 4, what will the associated lifts be and which would be most recommended?
I know that when you put a SD lift on an Excursion you usually end up with 1 or 2 inches more lift than the kit says. That's why I included the 4".
Opinions, facts and other BS gratefully appreciated!

I think edge is the only lift that guarantees their springs not to sag... but they are expensive and not among your choices. So I'll only comment on the one I have experience with. I started out with the fabtech 5.5 lift with the rear leaf option. This lift actually yielded 5" of lift. This was measured when I was figuring what I would have to do to clear the 39/18's I have on it now. When ordering your lift the engine also makes a difference the diesel weighing more than the 6.8 or 5.4.
