I measured my factory block last night and it turned out to be 2.25", I thought this was the same as the factory 250 block which is 1.8". Also I can get a free set of F-350 blocks for my EX does anyone know how tall they really are? What I am trying to do is put my 3" DR hanger lift on the front and keep the truck level, I don't want any rake but I really don't want it to sit rear end low so I guess I could deal with alittle rake If I have to.

Thanks,

AUG

To my knowledge the forward part of the block is 3 5/8" and the taper up is about 1/4" so it's just short of a full 4"

Make sure the blocks have the taper to avoid severe driveline vibration.

CHP the people I am getting my lift from are recommending a flat 5" block. Is this going to be a problem?

Trucks need to retain the natural driveline angle which is why I strongly recommend a tapered block, but if you can live with the vibration go for it.

I'm not to happy with vibration. How could I get a 3" lift on the rear of this thing or even a 2" lift with ford parts? F-350 rear springs and blocks?

Marty from Truck Toyz has repo ford blocks with the ears in 3,4,5 inches. They have flat blocks and tapered ones as well.
