Hi Gang, I just got back from a 4000 mile tour of Utah, Wyoming, and Arizona. Had a Great Time and Landyot's Radius Rods made a BIG difference in pulling my trailer over hill and dale. They are a difinite recommended add-on to your Excursion's suspension.
With 50,000 miles now on my "Barge" I am ready for some new tires. I've got a line on some F-350 King Ranch tire and wheel take-offs with less then a 1000 miles on them. Does anyone have any idea if these will work on a 2002 Excursion? I've heard that they will bolt right up to the Excursion and yet others have said they will only work on 2005 Super Dutys. Any input or recommendations would be appreciated. Tires are 275/70/18 on an 18x8 Wheel. I am more worried about bolt pattern and offset as clearance shouldn't be a problem. I've got V code springs from an F350 already on the front.
Thanks,
Casey

The 2005 wheels need a spacer to fit our trucks. The new f-250-350 have coil springs and a greater backspace. The tires will shread off on our leaf springs.

Thanks for the info Scott. I completely forgot the 2005 Super Dutys went to the new coil suspension. Along the same line, and with me still in need of a new set of tires, will 285/75/16 Bridgestone Revos fit on the 16x7 Excursion wheel? I've read all the past posts and it would appear they will even though the wheel is a little on the narrow side for that size. The 285's are also a Load Range D wereas the normal recommended 265/75/16 size are load range E. Will that make much of a difference considering I am puling a 10,000 lb trailer. Thanks for your input.

I have a brand new 285 Revo on the factory spare in the basement. Fits like a glove. I go with the load rating when i pick out tires since there is not a lot of e load tire options. I tow 8500lbs on D load Nitto Terra grapplers filled up to 50lb with no problems...

Thanks Scott... Looks like the next set of tires will be the 285 Revos. Casey
