Mongo has them on his "X". They have been available for a while now. I hope they have fixed those lights after hearing that they turn black and leak after 9 months of use.

I upgraded to the 2003 diamond cut style lights (OEM) and they installed fine. The old light housings were a *pain* to get out without breaking them. I also installed Sylvania Silver Star bulbs in both the fog lights and the headlights--WOW! What a great improvement. I purchased the OEM lights on eBay for $190/pair shipped. Don't have the guy's user name handy, but he has an 800 number in the ad and will sell for $175 plus shipping. Excellent quality and they come with bulbs (but get the Silver Stars!).

A hint for those taking out the old headlights-undo the top clips (a real pain) and pull the light slightly forward. Then force the light to disengage from the lower mounting post by pulling pretty hard. The ball-and-socket assemply that makes up the lower mounting post will separate, making removal of the lower post easier. Use a socket or short piece of plastic pipe to depress the side clips on the lower plastic mounting post from behind the mounting bracket and the post will come loose. Use the new light mounts to sixe the socket/pipe for a tight fit so the clips are fully depressed when you try to pull the post away from the mounting bracket. Be patient...it took me twenty minutes per side to get them out without damaging them (to be re-sold).

None of this will make sense until you get the new lights and see exactly how to disengage them from their moutning bracket--but it'll make sense when you see it in person.

I don't think mongo has the same ones I am talking about. I am pretty sure they just recently came on the market within the last 2 months. the new ones have almost like circles in them that hold hi lo beam and fog.

It sure sounds the ones I have, APC Projects with seperate HI`s and Low`s with fogs. If they are, they have been out for about 6 months, just hard to get. Got mine off of Ebay before Xmass for $256.00. If you are going to put in Silver Stars, do it before you put in the new houseings, the plastic mounts on the bottom break easy. The new fog light wireing harness is to short, I just made my own. While your at it, get the SUV lighting harness.
The removal of the stock lights isn`t that bad. To remove the clips on top, grab firmly with a pair of pliers or vise-grips, pull up while moveing right and left. If you break it do not go to Ford. They want $3 to $5 apiece for them. Go to a body shop near you, they should have a few laying around and you might get them free. As for the removal of the bottoms, grab a 9/16 boxed end wrench and slip it over the mounts behind the support. The should come right out.
You will have to trim, " I wrote trim " The support wall for the new housings. I used a pencil grinder, I suppose a Roto Zip might do it. Where a mask, don`t breathe the dust, it`s fiberglass.
It took me about 4 hours to complete the job, but I took my time. I had a brush guard to remove, the diamond vison turn signals to install also and new harness`s to make. It`s not that bad of a job. But the finished product looks great and a whole lot more light than stock

No problem Jimmy. So far I have had no problems. I ran a bead of silicone on all of the seams. Use silicone grease on the socket seals. I havn`t put in the Silver Stars yet, but soon. I also installed the factory fogs W/Silver Stars. The combo of new projects, factory fogs, and 100W spots, I now can see for about a mile . the other drivers get weld flash
Sorry, don`t have pic`s yet.Maybe soon. Work is picking up, and I get caught up in bill`s, I`ll buy one
