We recently swapped our 2000 X Limited for a 2005 Eddie Bauer (Wife was digging the two-tone in terior) and the difference in power was pretty niticeable right off the showroom floor.

Well...I got to drag a friend's Mustang down to Fun Ford Weekend in Ennis, TX a couple weeks ago in the new ride. It tows just as nice as the old 4x2 Limited 7.3 PSD

As I was walking through the vendor's booths, I came across a giant box with huge piping in it. The dude selling DiabloSport goodies at the booth said it was a 4" Flo-Pro system with a 5" tip. They had an F-350 there with the same exhaust installed so I could listen to it...Niiiiiiice

After bartering for a while, we settled on a smoking deal for a K&N filter , DiabloSport Predator Tuner (both installed on site) and the big 'ole honkin exhaust setup for $565!!!

The dealer installed the 65hp setting on the truck until I got home to put the exhaust on to lower EGT's and Hoooooly Cow, that thing picked up serious power!!!

After my buddy ran his class at the races, we lined up against a buddy of mine in his '05 Cummins 3/4 ton 4x2. Spool 'em up...3 honks...Excursion's ass end slides out in a cloud of smoke. Once I tracked up, we put at least 2 trucklengths on the Dodge and walked away from him!

I gotta tell ya, these Diesels are the coolest thing since sliced bread! There's some more 100-130hp chipped up 6.0's with straight exhaust on them running around town...sound like jets taxiing around the streets!

When we got back from Fun Ford Weekend, I installed the exhaust and made a few test passes late at night...the damn speedometer pulls past 60 like a hotrod!!! I think the speedo pegs around 110 and it was stuck there for at least 10 seconds after it pegged...truck ran smooth as glass. I LOVE this truck.

The best part about the whole deal is my wife got used to the exhaust when she left stoplights relatively quickly., and never gets in the loud pedal enough to notice the massive power gains.

Thanks Ford for the Biggest SUV/Cummins Killer on the planet.!

eh, the drive down was good to go...downhill all the way!

Coming back home after all that beer and sunshine was a killer!

But you are correct, a pleasure cruise.

You bet I'll give a shout next time we're down that way...plans are in the making for the Oreily nationals back at Ennis on Oct. 9th. 6.5 second Mustangs at Fun Ford Weekend can't hold a candle to John Force's Pony.
