Well, I finally got my truck back out of the shop. It had been in there for over 50 days!

I actually got it back once but when I got it home I crawled underneath just to find out that the transfer case was almost cracked in half! So, back it went for a new tranfer case.

I had the shop put on a bumper & grill from the XL trim Super Duty and got them painted to match the body work. The XL bumper doesn't have the plastic trim stuff on the lower half. It is a very clean look and since I'm moving to Hawaii where the roads are not covered with salt and gravel (sand), the paint should stay looking nice. Those are Hella 550's, BTW. Wired to the parking lights and relayed to the battery.

Pretty cool, I got new ball joints all the way around the front and a new steering gear to boot! Talk about some LIGHT steering now! Plus, I had them put on the Rancho I've had sitting in the garage.

Here's the only picture that I got...

Monsta, looks terrific. The grill/ bumper combo is a nice look.
When's the big move to the Big Island? You'll be kamaina soon enough. One of my favorite places in HI was Hilo. The people there are awesome. SO FRIENDLY!! Be sure to take in the Merry Monarch festival once you get there. You'll learn more about Hula than you knew existed!

(Was stationed at Pearl Harbor for 3 yrs. Best tour we ever had. HATED to leave.)

Mahalo!

Dave, I was miserable! The only saving grace was the rental '03 V10 Excursion that we had. Unfortunantly, compared to mine it was a wallowing, gas-guzzling (worse than mine), cold-on the-ass (leather), unable to modify mode of transportation. But at least everyone could fit.

Gary, I am leaving this coming Tuesday ( 4/8/03 ) I cannot wait!! As you can see from my picture, it snowed today. And more snow is forcasted. I am so glad I'm leaving! The only challenge will be the seperation from my family. I'll be there for a couple months before they come over. The kids got to finish school and I gotta get the business up and running, as well as find a house. Still, I'll be warm and AT HOME!

Can't wait to go to Hilo! We'll be living on the Kona coast though. It's a little drier there.

Looks good dude! ! ! I too like having a one of a kind "X"! Looks good except for the SNOW. We had a snow delay on opening day of baseball. Got a snow sqall and every thing was white for about 15 minutes then it stopped! I guess that's it for the mods till after the move Monsta? Have fun!

Monsta, the truck looks good. Have you considered clear corners? Or maybe tinted headlight lenses......I think that would look cool!!

Monsta, Looks great. Love the bumper, hate the snow. It was 82 four days ago and now I wake up to a dusting of snow and in the hi 20`s. I was thinking of painting a F250/F350 bumper but with all the gravel roads, stone chips and salt I`m thinking of using a bumper Bra if I can find one. I`ve ran a search so far havn`t
located one yet. Anybody out there seen one?
Being warm is one thing but being separated for two months is going to suck! I don`t know about you but I Really like being around my wife. Been together for 26 years and she is my best friend. The reason I`m saying this is I might have a chance to go over to Iraq, when the crap ends, to either clean up the oil fields or supervise the reconstrucion. The offer was almost Too good, but being separated for 6 months to a year at a time is not something to look forward to.

I can;t wait to hear the responses from this!

I am a Rainbow Cleaning System (vacuum) Distributor. I have been doing it for about 5 years now. I got tired of working for other people awhile ago, then some guy came and showed my wife and I the Rainbow. She liked it, we bought it, then she started selling them part-time to help egt sanity after taking care of the kids all day. Once she started bringing home checks that were more than my FULL-TIME pay most weeks, I knew that I should learn how so sell. I did, and now it's taking me back to Hawaii.

An area opened in on the Big Island. (Well, actually the WHOLE Island) And I jumped on it. Tough move, I had just opened another store in Worcester, MA! I closed that one, had my father-in-law continue with the other one and am moving my operation to Waikaloa, HI.

203008581,

I thought about clear corners but I am one of the few who like the amber lenses, I guess. And no smoked lenses for me. I'm too damn pratical.

Thanks for the compliments, men!

Ken
