I installed the X-monitor to keep an eye on things when I tow. I understand the importance of monitoring the pyro and transmission, but what do you do with the info that the turbo boost gives you??

I have heard people mention the whistle of the turbo and I hear it at times when I am asking for more power on hills etc. Is this good, bad or what??

My saying is more whistle more power, our upgraded compressor wheel is even louder than the stocker,Lotsa Power!

The boost gauge I use for engine power monitoring.

Hey Bill,

What kind of compressor wheel are you running? And is it louder to the point of being annoying? I was looking at the Wicked Wheel but didn't know if it would be a worth-while project.

Actually I am running the Wicked Wheel, was one of the first to get it when Bob started selling them 3 years ago

The WW has made a positive improvement across the power band. It whistles louder than stock but I'm used to turbos on International DT466 and DT530 engines

From what i was told the ww or any other wheel is actually an early model comp. wheel i believe a 1997.but that would be the only wheel up grade available from anybody.

Technically by design it's a early 1999
