My 05 PSD all of the sudden stopped running well. When you press the accelerator it feels like it's going to stall. Now the engine light is on. I am having it towed to the dealer today. Does anyone have any idea what it could be. I have 16,000 miles on it and changed the fuel filters 2,000 miles ago. At first I thought it might have been dirty oil but I still had 2,000 miles to go for a change. I changed the oil and filter anyway and it still runs like s**t. |

Almost sounds like an EGR throttle valve position issue,possibly involving the ICP signal/connection/wiring or the EBP Sensor needs replacing.
Won't really know till we find out what Diagnostic Trouble Codes come up on the scan at the Dealer.

That's what the dealer said before they even looks at it. I will find out for sure some time today. |

The dealership just called and said my truck was fixed. You nailed it! Bad EGR. Thanks for the imput. |

Most of the time it'll be the EGR but great to hear it's only that and nothing extensive
