I am towing 9000 lbs with the SuperChips in the Tow-Safe Mode....

Should I also be putting the truck into tow-haul mode OR does the Superchip mode make it unnecessary.?

With the SCMT you have to reprogram the truck when going from one program to another.

I see you have an X monitor so you'll be able to keep an eye on your EGT's with any of the programs.

I found that the higher 80 HP program above tow safe makes my EGT's about 50-75 degrees lower towing or not.

thanks bill,

I do change it back to economy when not towing.

however, I was curious whether I should engage the tow-haul mode on the excursion once I program the superchips to towsafe..?

For the extra power I'd do the tow-haul program
