Hey Toob,
I used to slip our boat at Silver Cloud Harbor Marina in Forked River. Just sold my F250 6.0L PS. Replaced it with an Excursion. Just beginning my mods...mostly suspension related. I'll mess with the engine a little bit but nothing like what I did to my GM 6.5TD Suburban.

Really, what did you do to your Suburban? How good are their diesels? I am a Chevy guy myself, but I bought an Ex because of the size and I just thought the PSD was alot more popular than powermax or the Crummins. I HATE DODGE! The only reason why Dodge has the name that it does was because back in the day when Dodge came out with the "HEMI" everyone wanted one! It was the thing to get. So that's why alot of people still love Dodge. At least that's my theory!

Basically rebuilt the thing from the ground up. Too much to list. Most importantly, lowered the compression to raise my boost pressure. Didn't like the aftermarket intercooler kits that were available to decrease intake air temp so I installed a water mist injection system. That was a pain in the butt too, especially on long trips. Filling the water tank was no fun. But it was a real kick to see the looks on people's faces when I ran a hose into the back of my Burb to fill the water tank!
