Not trying to hijack your post, but I just got my 2002 X 4wd PSD LMTD and I cannot find the switch for my fog lights! I looked everywhere. They are there I can see them, but they do not come on and no switch in sight! Do you or anyone else know where it is? Thanks.

Sylvania Silverstars seem to be the most popular over the past few years in both Excursions and SuperDuty trucks.

The headlight knob/switch should pull out to kick the factory fogs on.

Oh, that makes sense, thanks....The manual did not come with my truck, so you don't think I'm a total idiot. I have been looking on eBay for one.

It's hard to get familiar with all the quirks without the manual to go to....I'm glad I found this board, thanks!

I am looking for something more than the silverstars.
Any ideas?

Anything hotter than the Silverstars you'll have to upgrade the headlight wiring harness,Silverstars alone is pushing it still.

In my opinion the stock wiring harness is weak and by upgrading it alone the light output will be much brighter up to double in output.

What is the goal you're trying to acheive?

Do the light harness upgrade for about 2 volts more @ the bulb....
then do the bulb upgrade,
then put 9005's in the fog/driving lights,
then if more needed get some PIAA dirving lites like I had on my 03 Ex...
(think I have pics in my gallery somewhere )
