Am presently negotiating purchase of 2004 Ex - noticed on
paper that it had "AXLE CODE C1"
Idiot salesman had no clue
Thought I would ask the experts
What does it mean?
Thanks for the help

Your Excursion is not the first I've seen missing data on the white decal, the only reason I can see why it didn't make it is probably due to the person that entered the specific vehicle data for the build orders was nodding at the keyboard

If you're curious to the axle code for your X and it's a Diesel has to be a C1 or 3.73 gearing.

My 2000 has a blank where the axle code should be. I'm pretty sure I have an axle! So I guess someone was snozzing.
