As a recent owner of a 6.0L PSD X, what is the best aftermarket airbox to feed an unmodified engine? I plan to upgrade to a 4" exhaust later but have been reading that the best thing to do up front is the airbox. Any help?

Howdy Jason and Welcome to FordExcursions

Aftermarket filters I'd defintely recommend AFE products for sure and there's a couple kits they make for the 6.0L Excursions, click HERE for information.

I have not yet seen it done on a 6.0L yet but what we do on the 7.3L trucks is take a 2" holesaw to the front support panel that blocks the intake tube opening and put 2-3 holes there to where it permits cooler air to enter unobstructed
