Removing & reinstalling hog's-heads isn't too awful difficult, but pay a machine shop to set the ring & pinion gears so the gear teeth mesh correctly. Ya' can't just unbolt the old & bolt in new gears ... they need to be shimmed to provide the correct contact area on the gear teeth.
