Hey got this ugly problem! When I took out the spare tire I have this huge ugly hole!  Does anyone know of a replacement panel that replaces or goes over that spot? To make it look like the other side??? |

So where do you plan on carrying your spare? (Assuming you will.) I haven't seen/heard of interior "filler" panels for that recess, but I have heard that several X-owners have mounted subwoofers in that location. In any event, you'll have to make it yourself. |

Well that little tiny tire won't work with 36 x 14.50 PJ Dirt Grips on 16.5 x 12 in Alcoa rims. I'm going to pull out the spare so I can fit some more subwoofers in the back and I have the neighbor working on a custom spare tire mount for the 36.... Thanks to Bill I've got the stereo system itch!!!! Thanks Bill.... Just finshed doing the dynamat thing like $600 later and thats at cost.... It's wired and almost ready to go just wanted to look into that panel andneed to look into an alternator for the 4 Yellow top Optimas I have just laying around!!! GOD I'VE GOTTA FIND SOMEONE TO MAKE THIS PANEL IF IT'S NOT AVAILABLE OR IT'LL KILL ME.....  |

Charles,
No Prob with the itch  Glad to see your going all out. I had made a small cover to hide the bare spot for mine, 3 systems ago. Take some cardboard a trace it out how you want it to look and make it ott wood and cover it or paint it to match the interior.
