Okay, not to beat a dead horse, but I have yet to see a "this is what you need" list. I have a 2005 X Limited, 4wd, Diesel and I am wondering what all would I need to swap out the springs?

V-codes from an '04 F-250 and blocks/bolts from an '04 F-350 Ex Cab SWB?!?!

Is this it or am I missing something? Also, does anyone happen to have part numbers??

Thanks!!!!!

I don't have any part numbers, but it would be in your best interest safety-wise to use new U-bolts when you swap out the leaf springs.

Direct bolt-in. For the front springs only, taller rear blocks need longer U bolts. Your stock springs will more than likely not be happy with4" blocks.

Landyot is right, the U bolts are torque-to-yield. I haven't heard of used ones failing, but I wouldn't want to find out the hard way why I shouldn't be cheap.

I wasn't talking about using used equipment, the model year I was referring to would be the parts that fit my Excursion. I would pick up new parts from Ford.

Excellent! Do let us know how it turns out!

For the parts, go to the dealer and tell them what year and the spring code and they will be able to do the rest.
