Has anyone had a problem with their roof rack leaking?Mine stared with a little dampness in the cargo area, but with the last 3 days of pouring rain it has poured in,but at least I now know where it is coming from. How much trouble is it to fix? |

Where exactly in the cargo area is the water leak appearing as it could be coming thru the side flip out window rubber gaskets
But for the roof unscrew the side rails and apply a generous dab of Goop or a similar type of silicone sealant to the screw threads and hole then re-install.
The silicone should fill in any voids once everything is installed, have a damp towel on hand to wipe up any excess.
I use silicone sealant for the clearance roof lights and antenna roof mounts

The leak is on pass. side.I am thinking of taking both rails off and applying a calking to all the screws . |

Easy enough to do and eliminate as the cause.
