Hey all, My friend's got a diesel that runs fine until it warms up. Says that it runs great while it's cold, but when it get's to temp it starts to spit/sputter like it's missing and no power at all. His is an '01 as well. I told him I'd throw it out here for him to see what you guys might know. Any suggestions before we take it to the shop? |

OK, turns out he had a bad connection on one of the injectors. Doesn't really explain why it would run good cold, but so be it. They were all geared up to replace the injector for a whopping $400 (parts only, add $300 for labor) when they stumbled across the bad connection. Phew! |
