2000 7.3 w/ 130k, Banks 6 gun, CAI, big exhaust, and 36 inch tires. Mileage driving like Mrs Daisy is at best 12 mpg( taking into account for the 10 percent milage difference due to odometer). Is this normal and what can i do to increase mileage?

do you have an aftermarket intake filter? big exhaust coupled with big intake = good beathing for the PSD.

I have a 2001 7.3 with 285/75-16 Michelins and 157K miles with MCST on extreme mode and get 16 MPG most of the time with no load/no towing. ...no muffler/no kitty with factory exhaust.

Are you checking mileage with a calculator or believing the in board "lie-ometer" for MPGs?
