Well I just installed a Hellwig swaybar and new KYB shock to the back to my 2001 PSD EX. Man what a job I spend all day with about and hour break to go get a new bolt for a upper shock mount that the truck some how ate.

Even with the truck raised up on jack stands it was still cramp under the beast.

One question I have for those who have tackled this small task, when it was time to connect the end links to the frame which hole did you use?

The instruction stated to unbolt the emergency break cable on the drivers side and reconnect it through the mounting hardware. I could'nt get the bolt throught that hole beacue of the leaf springs so I use the next upper hole in the frame.

Tomorrow I will finish the jod by installing new shocks to the front. Hopefully that won't take as long.

Thank for the help
Robbie

Hey there, Neighbor. When I installed my rear Addco bar, I actually drilled new holes into the frame rail, as I was using a set of endlinks that I had laying around the shop...the Addco didn't come with any. I wanted to make sure that the bar was parallel to the ground, the endlink was 90* to the bar and the frame at the same time, and there was no hole in the area. If you want to see how I did mine and where I drilled, you are more than welcome to come by the shop (I-17/Thomas) and check it out M-F.

It makes a HUGE difference along with the MX6 adjustable shocks I installed!!

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the invite. Where on I-17/Thomas is your shop?

When I installed my swaybar using the existing frame mounting holes the end links aren't 90 deg's to the frame I may need to doing some home modifications.

Thanks for the reply
