Last night I pulled my IPR to clean because of surging at speed. It looked pretty good now I wish I wouldn't of messed with it cause my truck is Pulling 4 codes has the SES light on and rattles like its going to fly apart. I am getting P1000, P1209, P0603, and P1211. From my reading I found that the 1209 and 1211 are problems with the IPR. Does anyone know if the o-rings got damaged upon reassy would it produce these codes?

The other codes P0603 and P1000, could these show because I cleared the faults a few times? Or could they be related to the IPR?

Thanks

I'd rather be in the boat with a drink on the rocks then in the drink with the boat on the rocks.... But either way theres gonna be a good story!!!

A new IPR and IPS and truck is like new.

Things to look out for are the 2 wires that go into the IPR solenoid plug for some reason the sealant used to hold the wires in the plug body was slimy and the insulation was also swollen like oil got at it or some reaction with the sealant "slime" in the plug housing. If the wires touch she wont run good and will pull all the codes I listed.

Also the new IPS is a redesign with the same part number

I was also able to replace the IPR using a 3/8 swivel head snap-on ratchet with a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter and a 1-1/8 deep craftsman socket.

I'd rather be in the boat with a drink on the rocks then in the drink with the boat on the rocks.... But either way theres gonna be a good story!!!
