...and slight power cut out, or surging at 35 mph and 45 - 50 mph.
Doesn't happen under full load or when taking off from a stand still. The engine, by listening, and by watching the tach doesn't seem to indicate the engine is cutting out or RPMs are being reduced.
The rough idle is intermittent and I only really notice it when I am stopped at a light with my foot on the brake. I thought I was just being overly sensitive, but my wife mentioned that it seemed to idle rough and also fealt the surge when driving.

Where someone had a problem with the wiring harness that seemed to exhibit the same symptoms. Also someone mentioned the TPS.
I also found where some of the same symptoms might have been due to a bad CPS. Other posts found seem to think it might be the injectors.
I had originally thought it might be the trans slipping but with the rough idle wonder if it is something else.
Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? If you found a resolution what did it end up being?
If no one has seen this before does anyone have any ideas where I might begin?
Thanks in advance.

My experience with the CPS is that when it is going out, the engine just dies. Sometimes it starts up right away, other times you may have to wait to get the engine to start. As for the "missing" you are talking about, I have the same thing on mine now and then, not enough to bother me yet. I would suspect either the TPS or the valve cover harness. And if I had to, I think (IMHO) if I were going to change something out, it would be the TPS rather than the harness. Probably easier to change that than wrestle with a harness. Fwiw, on many aircraft problems, usually replacing a harness is one of the last problem solving steps I take in troubleshooting a problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Eddie. I wasn't sure about the CPS, but my experience is the same as yours. When it goes it goes and it is simply a no start condition.
I'm going to contact the dealer today and price a new TPS.
