If your X came with the owners wallet with manual and engine supplements,the keyless code should be on a plastic credit card type card,If not you'll have to go into the dealer to get it read but at what cost I dunno,could be free or their hourly rate.

I had the same issue when I got mine 3+ years ago. Went to a neaby dealer to get another key made and get the keyless entry code as well. Charged me for the key, getting the code was a freebie. If you just recently purchased your Ex, go back to the dealer and tell him you need that info (assuming it is a Ford dealer).
