Just curious if anybody has a 2wd X 03 or newer running Bilstein's. If you have a part # that would be great as I need to order some shocks this week.

I am not aware of any shock absorber fitment changes for any of the Excursion model years ... 2000 through 2005. To the best of my knowledge, they're all the same in regards to shock absorbers.
If anyone has conflicting information, I would be most happy to hear it.
I've seen rear bump-stops change two different times ... front bump stops changed once ... rear leaf springs were changed for the '04 and '05 models ... the "whatever"-plate on the earlier right-rear shock absorber lower mount went away at some point in time. There are probably other changes that're escaping me at this moment. |

I went ahead and ordered the 2001 listed shocks and installed them. Everything fit fine.
