Sounds like time for a new turbo like the 1000's of other 6.0L out there...

A friend of mine which has a 2005 F350 DRW is getting the turbo replaced along with 3 injectors and this is the 4th time his truck has been in for the common 6.0 repairs

No kidding the 6.0L is challenged but Ford must face the music

Had turbo assembly replaced, didn't make a difference. Occurs when towing boat/trailer. Any other thoughts.

Ours just went out ..... well not really out but the check light came on one day while back and I finally got around to taking it in and the turbo pressure was stuck open. Whatever that means. So they replaced it today. I couldn't tell there was an issue, besides the light.

Just remember there Bill that the 7.3L turbocharger is a complete different animal compared to the 6.0's
