Once in a while, after I put the truck in park and shut it off, it won't restart unless I reset the transmission selector (i.e. pull it down into drive and then put it back up into park). What is the most likely culprit for this symptom? Thanks.

I'd have to lean to linkage is in need of adjustment or repair, the Digital Transmission Range (TR) Sensor could also be in need of adjustment.

I had a similar issue with our 99.5 F250 7.3L which exhibited the same issue you're having with the X.
