Hey I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction where I can find the code for the keypad on the drivers door.The previous owner never wrote it down, and the manula says its on the computer, but I dont know where all the components are located on the X.Thanks. |

On the VSM unit the 5 digit code should be in bold lettering on the decal.You'll have to remove the stock stereo as the VSM is mounted behind it.

OK now how do you remove the radio, Im at work and no planes come until 9pm due to weather, so I got some time . |

Go to your local auto parts store or Walmart and pick up a set of "DIN stereo removal tools" Insert one into each set of holes till they "click" now apply outward pressure on both tools all the while pulling out the unit,some stereos require a little bit of wiggling due to dried coffee,soda,etc around the stereo.
Once it's out you'll disconnect (2) multipin plugs and the antenna connector.

OK now Im confused,lol.We got the stereo out and I see nothing really.I see a 4 number sequence sticker on the side of the radio but it did nothing.Someone please help, call me if you want as Im at work waitin on planes. My cell is 719-650-7852, Ryan |

The VSM(vehicle security module) should be behind the stereo or above it,I'm not positive.
