I don't post on here much anymore, but the other day a strange problem came up. My wife filled the explursion and drove it home. All was fine and dandy until the next morning when I got up to move it. The fuel gauge went pegged to full and will not move unless the power is off. I tried the obligatory disconnect of the batteries but that has not helped.
Anyone have any suggestions? Jim??

Here's a try from a fellow just donw da road...
Is it possible she left the key on while filling ?
if so, it takes drive cycles for it to straighten out...
after 5 or so starts, drives, and stops it will be good if thats it.....
good luck from greater downtown Rendon

Thanks guys.... I thought I had posted this underneath the Powerstroke section.
As for leaving the key on, I don't believe that to be the issue - although, I do normally fill up with th motor running. It's been going on for about 2 months, now.
