Hey guys,

Driving home today after picking up my kids from school, noticed the Excursion started running really rough. Stopped at pharmacy to pick up some meds and noticed the "SES" light had come on. Got home, shut the truck off went inside with several different thoughts of what it could be. Came back out about 15-20 mins later and fired it up. SES light still on but the rough idle was gone. Ran/idled fine. Popped the hood checked around and noticed fuel pressure at idle was around 55 psi. Before it was at 67psi. Drove to Autozone and had them scan for codes. Code "P1316" was the only one that came up. Had them clear it. Drive home truck ran fine.
Looked up the code on the internet and found "P1316- Injector circuit/IDM codes detected". Anyone got any more info on what I may be dealing with? My first thought is the UVC harness. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Thanks for the link, Bill. That is a heck of an ordeal that Bryan went through. Drove the Ex into work today. About ten minutes into the drive it started acting up again. Running really rough, but was able to maintain speed, and no check engine light so I don't think it threw a code. After about five minutes it cleared up and ran fine the rest of the way to work. So now I've got some direction thanks to your link. Check the uvc harness (not gonna be any fun) and check the connectors to the IDM. Thanks again for the info
