The OEM BF Goodrich Radial TAs on my X are showing some sidewall cracking at 32K miles. With 9/32 tread left, I'm thinking of taking them in under a pro-rated warranty. Currently, I run the stock 265/75 R16s, and tow a 8K trailer almost exclusivly with the truck. So far, I've never had any issues with my setup. The only issue I ever had was more my fault than the tires, when I started to sink in sand on South Padre Island beach on skinny tires set at 75 PSI. Anyways, Im thinking of new tires, and thinking of the following choices: Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor Any thoughts on my choices, based on the fact it is for towing? I'll stay with E rated tires for safety and sway control, so I'm not interested in any D rated tires. Also, what are your thoughts of putting on 285/75R16? Will I have any wheel rub on turns? I'm gussing that this would add 1 inch to my overal height and 1.5 inches in tire width. With that extra width I'm also guessing my mileage bay get a hit. Are my guesses correct?
