OK, folks, I did it. I figured out a way. It only requires drilling 4 (total) easy holes in the Firestone brackets, and the Gen III's and IV's willl work with the Firestone airbags. I just finished the Bag bracket mods, and only did a trial fit of the Radius Rods, but by durn, it's gonna work!!

EXCELLENT!!! I like a simple solution, especially when it works. Good going!
I'll have to give "housedad" credit in my future correspondence when folks ask about using radius-rods with Firestone air-bags.
Great work! |

Glad you liked the solution.
It took forever to get the time to try out my idea, and i'm real pleased with how simple it turned out to be. It also took a lot of head scratching!! |

I saw your post and did a similar mod when I replaced my GEN-I radius rods with GEN-III's when I installed my 4.5" DR lift. I flipped the bottom of the bracket around and welded in some extensions due to the lift. It worked out perfectly. Glad I saw your post before doing my install. |
