I had my front pads replaced at 62,000 miles and rotors turned. Now with 68,000 miles and 3 months I have the shakes when stopping.

Does the ART system have this problem?

Thanks for your replies

Ken

I have about 10K on mine now and absolutely love 'em!

If I ever traded this one in, the ART pads and rotors and the swaybar would be "must take" items!

Just installed mine Saturday so I won't be of much help...but if anything goes wrong I'll let everyone know.

From what I have read though they're probably the best investment you'll ever make in your truck.

A reply from a newbie...I replaced my pads and had my rotors turned at about 55k miles on my 00 X and starting get the shakes soon thereafter. My mechanic found a flat spot on one of my back rotors. The rotor was replaced and no more shaking.

I have a 00X and had the same problem with the shaking not long after I had the pads replaced and rotars done. I ordered the ART and my wife says the problem has gone away and says that the breaks hold up well in the stop and go traffic. Currently I am deployed with Iraqi Freadom and have not gotten to drive it since the brakes have been put on. My wife has been very pleased.
