Sounds like U's amd F's may be in your future!

Keep reading, and use the search engines. It won't be long before you have what you want figured out. You're off to a good start.

Actually. I plan on ordering tomorrow and hopefully installing thursday ;) I really can't stand the ride as of now.

No, the springs for your Excursion are single rate progressive elliptical 6 leaf springs on the rear, and single rate progressive 2 leaf springs on the front.

Those do sound like the proper numbers. I would have to look them up on the other posts to find out.

I also have a photo set that shows my installation of the front V codes and my front hitch. If you wish to see it, go here:

Guess,

I installed 295 Nittos and they rubbed when I turned sharply and in reverse. I switched to 285's...they look just as good!

I just installed the radius rods, a bit of a difference in how the rear end behaves, no difference in comfort or ride.

Also, since i was back there i measured the sway bar, its 30mm, is there a possibility that the 05 eddie bauer comes with this from factory?

My U and F codes just came in. Hopefully will have the time to install them next week.

My 4x4 05 did not come with one... think the 30MM is from the camper package...

F and U's installed. The Ranchos are starting to upset me, I think i will be switching to a set of Bilsteins.

I also ordered a Trac Loc and Aluminum Cover for the rear.
