Was looking at the new Expedition EL's and got sticker shocked! Figured I'd be better off upgrading my X instead. Not sure I am experiencing the "wander" that everyone talks about, maybe a little on the highway. I do tow a travel trailer with this, it's a beast, around 8000 pounds, I definitely get wander when that thing is hooked up. Got the anti-sway bars on the trailer too but still get the wander, figured thats just the way it is when towing, unless it has to do with a weak rear suspension on the X? What would you all recommend I do to this stock 01 X suspension? I see alot of talk about your radius rods, what about a rear anti-sway bar? Anything for the front end? I was trying to soften up the ride, it is pretty harsh overall. I have an 01 Limited 4x4, installed Rancho 9000's about a year ago. I think the Rancho's helped a little bit but not as much as I expected. Perhaps different springs and bushings? Not a mechanic here, so feel free to educated me.
Thanx.

Landyot Radius Rods would help. At least they did help mine.

What setting are your shocks on?
How much do you sag with the trailer on? Different/stronger springs are a good upgrade but may give you additional ride height. That means you gotta do (usually) all the way around.
Radius rods would be a welcome addition if the wandering is too much for you (sounds like it isn't). A stonger spring pack may help with that, too.
If you don't have a rear sway bar then get one. It ain't there so much to help with wander (that's not it's job) but it certainly helps you 4x4 owners with ride compliance.
