Does anyone know where I can get a new light lens for my tow mirror 2005 Ex besides the stealership? How do you take it apart to replace it? Instructions would help.  |

All of the mirror parts are Ford only. There are knock off's on Ebay but not sure if they have the turn signal ones and if they even sell the replacement covers and who knows if they would even fit?
Can you buy just the part you need from Ford? At one time all you could buy seperate was the glass.

Went to Ford today. They call it a mirror cover and they gave me a discount at 75$ plus tax. It was 112$ it comes with the lights in it. Now I just have to figure out how to change it out. |

Lawman try this out LINKY
The cover is held in place with tabs that are molded in. You can access the tabs (4 of them) by manually moving the mirror to the extremes of all 4 corners. By moving the glass, you can access the tabs with a long blade slot screwdriver. Just lift the tabs and gently pry it off.
