Everyone,
Before I take this apart, I want to know if anyone else ever looked into this. Next to the third row seat, in my 2000 Limitted 4x4, on the drivers side, there is a storage bin molded into the side pannel with a lid on it (my son calls it his garbage pail). On the passenger side, same spot, there is a blank plate which looks like it could be another "garbage pail". Is there a reason why it is a blank plate? Can I buy another bin and put it inthere in place of the blank plate? Thanks. |

I was wondering the same thing!!! I'm gonna watch this post!! I just got an Eddie Gasser 4X4 and when I was giving it the "once, twice, and three time over", I almost ripped that cover off... the Burbs & Yuks have the garbage pale on both sides... I thought the same about the X. I'll be watching with baited breath (what the hell is baited breath anyhow?  ...?

Actually it is BATED breath. "Bated" has the meaning “reduced, lessened, lowered in forceâ€. So bated breath refers to a state in which you almost stop breathing through terror, awe, extreme anticipation, or anxiety.

That pad on the right side is just that: a pad. You can pull it off to reveal...nothing.

You can pull it off.
You will have to cut out the extra plastic to fit another storage bin on that side. I haven't done it but have removed the pad to see what was under it.
