Guys, I have a tranny oil leak from a round plug underneath the tranny.is it hard to replace or should I take it to the dealer?what would the cost run me, approx.???? Im worried about taking it to the dealer... |

The plug is the tranny drain plug. It's just like an oil drain plug. Just tighten it up. |

Actually, it's a rubber plug.I am just going to pop it out and replace it.Funny, it only leaks when the tranny is hot,oh well. |

That rubber plug (if I'm thinking right) covers the drain plug for the torque converter. You really need to have your tranny inspected. If you got fluid coming from there then a seal is bad or the drain plug for the TC is loose.
What year is your truck?

It's a 2000 with 81k on it. It has not leaked anymore?? Weird!!!!! |
