The "off road" fuel is non taxable fuel as it's designated for Farm, construction equipment mostly,"off road" will have a red dye in it which if caught running it in on highway vehicles the penalties are very stiff.

Is it the same fuel? The sign on the pump next to the regular diesel pump said it could harm pre 2007 diesel engines.
Thanks,

To my knowledge there's 3 non winter Diesel fuels.
ULSD Ultra Sulfur Diesel (15 PPM) approved for year 2008 & up Diesels
LSD Low Sulfur Diesel (500 PPM) approved only for use in year 2007 & older Diesels
Off Road Diesel which I'll assume is 500 PPM Diesel Fuel with Red Dye mixed in for identification
The new formula ULSF 15 PPM fuel can be used in any Diesel engine.
