I have a 2001 V-10,I'm haveing a problem with.After driving foe 30 min. to an hour the gages peg out (truck is not running hot)and truck cuts power.I can restart and drive a little futher ,gages are back in normal range.Has anybody got any ideas as to whats going on ,

I actually answered over at FTE but might as well do the same here.

I think you've got a bad battery. A bad battery will do all kinds of weird things. But seeing how your gauges peg makes me point to the battery.
