Does anyone know if the Ford 6 disc in the dash radio will work in a 2000 X?

Not for total sure as i have never changed one out. But I would gather that it is a plug and play.
I would, however, try to make sure you get a 6-disc (dual media unit) from an Excursion so that you won't lose your rear seat audio controls if they matter to you. The radios from the pickups do not support the rear seat controls.
