Hello folks,
I did the 06 V codes on front and the F codes in back with an add leaf from the old spring pack (3rd one up from the bottom). This idea came from "Towrig". Thanks Towrig! I ended up with a 2" lift in the back and 1.5" in the front. The wandering seems to be gone and I can now steer with one finger down the highway. I dont have radius rods yet.
I have not towed anything yet but it looks like it can handle anything. Thanks to all for the great advice.

No problem. I'm glad you like the set-up. It really makes you wonder what Ford was thinking when they put those weak springs in it from the factory.
Enjoy the new ride. |

Now that's how it shoulda come from the factory.
And on that note...Ford should have positioned it in the Super Duty lineup and not the SUV lineup and named it "The CrewMax". (Toyota is now using that name.) If positioned in the marketplace differently maybe it'd still be around.
