2001 PSD. Driving the truck home an hour ago, I got up to 25 mph and it shifted weird like almost

a downshift. I took off again trying to get up to speed and the same thing! It will not go past 25mph

Its like a hard downshift or something? There is no Check Engine Light on or such. Ive never had

one Tranny problem! Any help would be appreciated!

I just drove the truck to the dealership and it shifts just fine in first and second gear. As soon as it

gets to 25 mph its like the truck is wanting to downshift. Reverse is also working fine.

With that number of miles Mark and basing on the average lifespan of the 4R100 you may be due up for a new transmission unfortunately.

We recently created a BTS kitty for our X thats starting to show some OD symptoms at 61k but might try and extend it's life another 10-20k if my wife can lighten her foot off the accelerator.
