Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking about buying a used 2005 Excursion with the V10 engine. It is 4 wheel drive and I believe it is a limited. The dealer is asking $29,800 for it. I currently own a 2006 expedition EB edition with 3:73 rear end and I tow a 26' trailer. I would like more power and towing stability. Will this truck get me there? As far as reliability goes is there anything I should be looking out for?

Thanks,
Stephen

I went back to the Excursion after owning an Expedition. You'll find a big difference in towing stability and ability. These trucks (engines) are dead reliable.

However, that is WAAAAY too much money for it. Like 5-6K too much.
