Welcome to the X-Files!

I assume you're talking about a 2WD X, and not 4WD. I can't offer any help, but I can at least "bump" this thread a notch for ya'.

Those adjustment shims should be available at the dealer or NAPA.

It is for a 4wd 2000 X. Napa carries shims but not the cams for the 4x4. The front X 4x4 does not use shims. It uses a cam that fits over the shaft on the on the upper balljoint.
The factory cam is fixed in place and the after market will rotate to be able to adj. the camber and caster for the alignment.
I can take it and have it done but they charge about $100.00 a side and the part is only about $25.00. It takes about 20 min. a side to install and can't see paying $150.00 labor for about a 1/2 hours work.
