I've read alot of threads, Which would be the best sounding muffler to swap out the stock one, I dont want one that sounds like crap when towing. Just one that has a somewhat deep tone.and a little bit more performance. I just figured maybe some of you have tried some different setup's since the last post. Thanks |

I've yet to hear of any muffler swap give a performance upgrade.
I've used a FM 40, FM 70 and my Banks Monster. I like the tone of the Monster the best but that's kinda pricey.
I;d look into a FM70. Mellow tone and a lot less drone than the 40. (which I wouldn't recommend at all.)

Well i got a great deal on a Bassani Cat-back. So i hope it sounds good, talked to a couple places and they said Bassani had the best sound on a v-10.
I have a 04 SVT Lightning with full bassani ceramic coated headers, mid-pipes and cat back and love it. so we'll see. I'll get back on after the install and tell everyone how it sounds |
