Mine broke and the adapter bolt that mates the antenna with the base--broke off down inside there---way down in there. I really don't like potatos. I could do an Eddie Bauer potato but that would probably infuriate any potato activists around!

i think you are already done with this. my truck antennas broke. need to replace it with a new one. my friend selling antenna on his excursion but i dont know if it will fit with my truck.. can you help me on this? thanks!
