Took the X in today for a "ck engine light" and was told that glow plug #'s 2,4,6,8 were not working due to a bad glow plug controler on that side.
I cant seem to find anything called glow plug controler. I can only find a glow relay and a glow plug module. Could one of these be it? |

The Module is on the right side of the engine just behind the Oil fill neck. There is only one Module
On the Relay trucks they have two relays.

The trucks have the relay and the Excursions have the module. The relays are cheap and the modules are spendy. Replaced the one in the X this Spring for $158.51, another Ford dealership wanted around $250. List is $222.38
Looking at my receipt it just shows DY876 as the part number.
